Green Day is a modern punk music phenomenon. With currently seven albums out, the band Green Day have gone platinum more than three times, have sold over 22 million records in the U.S. alone, and have even won three Grammys. Credited with bringing punk music back to mainstream success along with Offspring and Rancid, Green Day create their unique sound with only three members. Although the band has had it's problems in the past, Green Day still remains one of the most influential bands of the 21st Century.
