Cradle of Filth, one of the most controversial extreme metal bands, has been called the most successful British metal band since Iron Maiden. Even though the band has been around for less than twenty years, they've caused uproar from the Vatican, and many fans have been arrested and fined just for wearing the band's extremely controversial shirts. In their time, Cradle of Filth have released eight studio albums already, and have had over twenty different musicians play for the band. With no signs of slowing down, Cradle of Filth remains and will continue to remain one of the most contended bands that divides metal fans to this day.
