A Finnish Melodic Death Metal/Power Metal band, Children of Bodom combines two genres into one cohesive and exhilarating sound. Formed in 1993, Children of Bodom began as "IneartheD", and found little success in its early years. Eventually, though, after the band recorded its first album, people, especially record companies, started paying attention to the band, and, after they signed, they changed their name to Children of Bodom. Currently, the band has released six albums, with all of them selling over Certified Gold. Recently the band announced they will have a seventh album early 2010, and our taking a break from their widespread touring to focus on it.
